Week 1

Meet the Brothers Night

Casual mixer — come hang out, ask questions, no commitment required. This is your first chance to see what Pike culture is like.

Week 2

Philanthropy Day

Get involved in a community service event alongside the brothers. See our values in action and meet more of the chapter.

Week 3

Formal Dinner

A sit-down dinner where you'll meet alumni, hear from leadership, and get a real sense of the brotherhood's depth and impact.

Week 4

Bid Day

Offers are extended to candidates who are a strong fit. This is the beginning of your journey as a Pike.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need connections to attend rush events?

No. All rush events are open to any University of Kentucky student. Just show up.

Is there a GPA requirement?

Yes — a minimum 2.5 GPA is required to receive a bid. We take scholarship seriously.

What is the weekly time commitment?

Chapter meets once per week. Additional events and programs are available but largely optional.

Is living in the chapter house required?

No. Membership does not require you to live in the house. Many brothers live off-campus or in the dorms.

Can I rush if I'm not a freshman?

Absolutely. We accept rushees from all class years including transfer students.
